Founder and Chief Executive Officer: Richard Hartman.

Richard is aged 56, married to Michele and has four children and five grandchildren.

Richard's background was in financial services having spent 20 years with a number of major financial institutions.

He is using his experience of dealing with companies at all levels, communicating the concept of
Deafclicks.

Richard is 'Hearing' but his son in law is a full time Communicator for the Deaf (Stage 3 BSL) and was instrumental initially, in assisting with the development of the Deafclicks project

Executive Chairman: Jamie Berman

Jamie is also 'Hearing', aged 55, married to Jan and has one married daughter.

Jamie joined Richard two years ago to help develop Deafclicks. His background was in retail, having successfully owned his own shop in St Albans for a number of years.

Jamie is used to dealing with the public and offers the company the benefit of his interpersonal skills.


CONSULTANTS

Cheryl Cullen

Cheryl has worked for a large Deaf organisation for the last three years. While she has operational and strategic responsibilities for the service she manages in London, she also has National responsibilities for marketing and publications.

Cheryl passed her BSL stage 2 and has constantly improved her sign language skills through managing a large Deaf team and havings friends in the Deaf community.

Cheryl also has an academic background in Deaf studies and her work has been read by the leading authorities in the area such as Harlan Lane and Robert Hoffmeister-co-authors of 'Journey into a Deaf World'. Both Cheryls professional work and academic research has allowed her to develop a high level of awareness into the issues faced by Deaf people as individuals and as a cultural group, both in the past and as they continue today.

Cheryl has given valuable advice on the Deafclicks site content, with her web critique offering praise where due together with constructive criticism where aproppriate.

Kevin Whalley

Kevin is
profoundly Deaf, working as an accountant and co-director of a financial services company and is involved in preparing accounts and doing tax computations for clients that are self employed, partnerships and limited companies.

Kevin has many clients including 'Deaf registered charities' together with Deaf clubs. He is also a very keen golfer and a treasurer of the World Deaf Golf Federation.

Kevin helps keep Deafclicks feet firmly on the ground as he always sees the view coming from the Deaf community.

Jeremy Litenstone

Jeremy grew up in a 'Deaf household'. Both Jeremy's parents were profoundly Deaf, although Jeremy is hearing.

Jeremy is BSL qualified Stage 3 and will communicate on a wide range of services including mortgages, financial advice, legal aspects and acompanies clients to meetings with opticians, doctors, dentists and other every day essential appointments.

Deafclicks uses Jeremy as their communicator when required, as well as advising the management team on projects relevant to the company.
